Kayode was formerly Chairman of the UK Chapter of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Europe (NIDOE UK) from 2007 to 2011. He was appointed General Manager / Deputy Director, Business Development and Investment (BDI) Finance Directorate, in the Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NiMet), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Aviation (FMA) in the Goodluck Jonathan Administration where he served from 2011 to 2016. He was retained under the Buhari Administration until he resigned the appointment in 2021 to pursue other private and academic interests. In his period of service in the Federal Government, he led a number of transformation projects with International partner organizations such as the UK Met and US Enterprise Radar. Kayode worked directly with the Office of the Honourable Minister of Aviation (HMA) from 2010 to 2014.
From a business and entrepreneurial standpoint, Kayode is the Chairman & CEO of the VBG Group. He operates a chain of retail services stores in the United States where his Law and Business degrees have served him well in his business ventures. Professionally, Kayode is a Certified Information Systems Architect (Enterprise Architecture) with close to 30 years of cognate professional experience in both managerial and executive roles. He has worked in over 20 countries worldwide (Europe, North America, Asia and Africa) on high-value global technology and digital transformation programmes for major blue-chip multinational corporations spanning industry sectors such as Finance, Insurance, Technology, Healthcare and Utilities. He is an Executive and a Director in various companies, organizations and charities including being on the Board of Directors (BOD) of the US Chapter of the Command Lagos Old Students Association Alumni (CSSLOSA). He is currently President of the Command Lagos Old Students Alumni Association (ComLag) Worldwide.
Mogaji Ogunsola is a happily married family man. He enjoys documentaries, biopics and spending time with family and friends. He holds the traditional title of Mogaji Olubadan (Chief) of Ibadan land.
